Decision Workshop with Body-Based Exercises

Briefly introduce the goal and flow: this session is about reaching a concrete decision, not just discussion.

10:05
Min.

Take three conscious breaths together: inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 6 seconds. Helps the group actually arrive in the room instead of running on autopilot before content starts.

10:08
Min.

Present the options on the table clearly and neutrally, without evaluating them yet.

Display options visually (flipchart, slides)

10:18
Min.

Participants position themselves along an imagined line in the room based on how much they agree with an option. Visible physical positions replace abstract verbal discussion at this point and make the range of opinion instantly visible.

Enough open space in the room; mark a line if useful

10:23
Min.

Pick up the different positions from the spectrum exercise and have people explain their reasoning.

10:38
Min.

A short walk or deliberately shaking out arms and legs to release physical tension before the decision. Leaving the room is explicitly allowed.

10:46
Min.

Right before the actual decision, take a moment together to feel your feet on the floor and consciously drop your shoulders. Reduces impulsive reactions driven by time pressure rather than conviction.

10:49
Min.

Capture the decision, the owner and the next step clearly and in writing.

11:04
Min.

A short stretch or one deliberate, audible exhale to close the session consciously instead of jumping abruptly into the next meeting.
